The NBC App – Stream TV Shows App Reviews

I LOVE this NBC app. The only this is, the subtitle are annoying.

Video doesnt play due to unknown video error. Also the number of adds could to be reduced.

App is absolute garbage. Doesnt load doesnt stream. Pathetic trash

I downloaded the NBC app in order to watch This Is Us. Im disappointed that you still have to periodically watch advertisements through the shows. Theres just no way to get around it.

App would be so much better if i didnt have to re-login for every episode. At least remember the username if not the password!!!

Worse app ever!!! Doesnt download in a timely manner. And have the time not at all. It comes up we are having difficulty try again!

Please fix the bug in the up next feature for the new Apple TV. Shows dont go away after watching them in the tv App. (Up next)

The Chromecast / Google Cast feature is completely broken. Connects and then freezes, takes over the TV and doesnt let you control it anymore. leave it to nbc to build another broken app.

Worked for one show, then signed in with my actual account and magically shows all stopped streaming

I have no clue what this latest update did, as all of the features just continue to disappear with each update, and I wish I could go back to the update prior to all of these issues I started having. Picture in picture no longer works and as someone who watches stuff on the go and uses the closed captioning so I can read the parts Ive missed with distractions going on around me. Closing the app resets the closed captioning every single time and will not stay turned on if you even blink at the app, and I cannot do anything else anymore on my ipad if Im watching the one show I come on here for, which is a mystery to me that hulu no longer supports Days of our Lives. Im just glad its only one show, which unfortunately is daily for my soap opera, it seems that all of the major tv networks are becoming more and more out of touch with their customers, because the vast majority of the problems I encounter are on the apps of major networks. I really wish theyd just put us all out of our misery and just let Hulu and Netflix handle the streaming, because they all seemingly have no idea what theyre doing at this point, its ridiculous really. Also it appears that with every update it resets their user rating and puts all of the reviews in past updated versions so you have to go dig to read them, really makes me wonder if these updates are to solely to bury user ratings and further confuse the issues. Instead of changing a line of code to make it look like you care to make your app look all pretty and shiny, you try listening to the people writing your reviews and actually fix the underlying problems.

I love the app so far! Its super high quality. Keep up the great work.

The commercials are so far over the top, the shows are unwatchable. I gave it two stars instead of one because the shows do stream well. I deleted the app. I would only come back if commercials were cut by 2/3.

This app is great! Easy to use and all the episodes I wanted were available!

Full episodes and videos fail to stream despite linking to a cable provider account. Nothing loads. App doesnt even recognize video playback fails.

First off, the video quality is better than the Xfinity app and website. Plus it doest freeze, AND it supports Chromecast, unlike the Xfinity app. Thank you for that! HOWEVER, Chromecast support needs major work. Once casting content the pause button on the app simply does not work. There is no way to pause. I tried hitting it over and over and it does nothing. And if youre done with a show, you cant turn it off. Pause doesnt work. Closing the app doesnt even work. I then tried turning off my phone and somehow it STILL kept streaming the show to my TV (I guess it downloaded it in the cash of my Chromecast?). I had to unplug my Chromecast to make it stop. Please fix! Im running iPhone 6S Plus, btw.

Love the app... watched 3 episodes of This is Us. Great streaming.... commercials are a little annoying.... but can tolerate. What I dont understand is that apparently my cable provider does not support this capability. Wierd. So this is not a stand alone app??? Was able to watch the 3 episodes as a complimentary thing. Would have given a 4.... but given that I have to be dependent on my cable provider to watch...???? Hence the rating of 1.

Okay. I ? The Voice ? ✌? and we got rid of our direct TV ?. So I got the NBC app ? thinking ? "We can watch ? The Voice ? ✌? on the app!" But... no!?? Doesnt load. Idc about the other seasons. Or episodes bc Ive already seen them.? But the 2 most recent ones, ??wont load!!! ?The only thing that really loads are the clips. And tbh idc about the clips. Im not sure what the issue is. NBC app is the only app that constantly cuts off during live streaming. Very frustrating

Every time I try to watch a show live and stream it to my it cuts out several times.
